Description:
The main activity we offer is to spend a day with the traditional fishermen of Mallorca, being one of the crew, and show them what their day’s work is like. It is not a fishing charter.
You can fish at certain times during the excursion with a rod for small fish (1 hour). The fishermen fish with nets. We will learn about the different fishing gear that is still used today, as well as the different species that are caught while you live with the fishermen and participate in some non-hazardous tasks.
You will enjoy the sunrise at sea and the possible sighting of dolphins. The activity includes a free breakfast with soft drinks. The excursion starts at 6 am and ends at 12 noon (6 hours duration). Monday to Friday all year round. The maximum number of people is 4 and children get a 40% discount.
You can buy the day’s catch from the fisherman at the fish market price (this is a lower price than usual).
As it is a real fishing day, the boat does not return to port until the end of the activity. We always recommend taking “a biodramine with caffeine” about 15 minutes before embarking to avoid seasickness, even if the weather is good at sea.
